At Oshu Studios, we don’t just design clothes—we challenge an industry. Every year, the fashion world produces 92 million tons of textile waste and uses unimaginable amounts of water, energy, and synthetic materials in the process. We're here to prove there’s a better way, without sacrificing quality or consistency! 

🌎 The Problem We're Tackling

  • 3000–5000 liters of water: That’s what it takes to make just one hoodie using conventional manufacturing methods.

  • The average new garment creates 20–30% more CO₂ emissions than its upcycled counterpart.

  • Globally, less than 1% of clothing is actually recycled into new garments annually. The rest? Landfills or incinerators, contributing to more greenhouse gases and further pushing the question of the need for fast fashion.

We’re on a mission to make sustainable, ethical fashion the default—not the exception. That means not only creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind garments, but also educating, inspiring, and empowering people to rethink how clothes are made, bought, and worn.

We believe:

  • Fashion should respect the planet

  • Style shouldn’t come at the cost of exploitation or excess

  • Every piece of clothing has the potential for a second life, from the most tattered old shirt to a newer item with stains or rips!

🔄 How We’re Pushing Further

We’re not stopping at “less harm”—we’re actively building a model for circular fashion that puts waste reduction at the core.

Here’s how:

  • Zero-inventory model: We produce in small batches or on-demand to prevent overproduction.

  • Creative reuse: Every scrap is evaluated for reuse—larger cuts become patchwork, smaller ones become appliqués, and even threads find purpose.

  • Repair & Rework: We’re developing programs to help customers extend the life of what they buy—through care guides, re-dyeing, and repairs.

Our ultimate goal? Net positive impact—where we don’t just reduce harm, but actively restore value to discarded materials and support a more conscious community.
